Rosmery's story

Rosemary, 27 years old, is a hard-working woman. She is married to Walter, who is employed and is the father of their three children: Aron, 8, Josué, 3, and Natanael, 1. She lives at her in-laws' house with them, her children, her partner and, a nephew who she all loves very much. Her business is selling fresh fruit in front of her house. Therefore, she wakes up very early, goes to the market to buy the freshest fruit that has just arrived to then brings it home where she sells it. She began 6 months ago and also sells drinks. She personally attends to her customers, taking advantage of the fact that her area is very busy due to being close to the sawmill. She likes what she does because it brings her a good income to live comfortably, in addition to depending on what her partner earns, since she used his capital to start her business. Now she has plans to invest in a new product: snow cones, which are ground ice with different flavors of syrup. There is a high demand for this product in her area because it is very hot. This is her second loan with the MFP institution and she feels happy for the financial help in order to grow her businesses. In addition to being comfortable with the communal bank, she thinks that the members are very supportive people. With the sum requested, 1500 nuevo soles, she will invest in buying a snow cone machine, valued at 500 nuevo soles. With the balance, she will buy fresh fruit to continue with these sales.
