A loan of $575 helped to buy animal feed.

Maria Yanina's story

María is 23 years old and in a common-law relationship. She lives with her partner, her mother-in-law, and her young son in a traditional-style home made of rustic materials. María is currently pregnant with her second child. Her home is located in the village of Las Pampas in Mórrope.

María raises small animals such as turkeys, ducks, chickens, and other livestock in pens that are located behind her house. She also raises goats and sheep, which are fattened with a diet of balanced feed. The animals are sold once they reach the ideal size and weight. With the earnings she generates, María is able to cover her expenses and those of her family.

María wants her animals to gain weight faster so that she can sell them. For this reason, she is requesting a loan of 1,500 PEN from Edpyme Alternativa. The money will be invested in the purchase of feed for her animals so that they will gain weight. With her profits, she will be able to improve her quality of life and that of her children. María has good personal references.
