Akovognon's story

Akovognon is 37 and lives in Benin. He learned the trade of embroidering and tailoring. He is married to a hairdresser named Emilienne. The couple are raising four children, of whom three are their biological children. Some of these children are enrolled in school.

Akovognon lives with his wife and children. The couple share in supporting their household. Akovognon has been working at tailoring and embroidery for about 11 years. This is what best allows him to cover the needs of his family. He buys his tailoring materials in Nigeria. Wishing to satisfy his clientele and also to obtain a new embroidery machine, Akovognon is requesting his first-ever loan from ALIDé.
