A loan of $600 helped to buy sand, bricks, cement, etc.

Riselda Elizabeth's story

Riselda Elizabeth is 27 years old. She lives in her own home together with her life partner and her 4-year-old son. Elizabeth lives off the income she makes in her business: a store where she sells basic grains and basic food products. Her partner works providing security services. Elizabeth is a very hard-working and respectable woman. Together with her family, she works hard every day in order to improve the living conditions in which she herself grew up. Elizabeth managed to complete her 'basic education' (education for students aged 7-15) but she aspires for her son to complete a university degree. In order to achieve this, Elizabeth believes that she must improve conditions in her home so that she can provide a healthy and comfortable space for her son to grow up in and so that they can feel proud of the fruit of their labor. She is requesting a loan to invest in buying the materials she needs (sand, bricks, cement, etc.) to install a brick floor in her house. If she obtains the loan that she needs, she hopes to gradually improve her home so that her son can grow up in more decent conditions.
