Mary's story

Mary is thirty four years old and married with three children. Her children are currently in school. She sells onions and iodated salt to her community folks.



Mary is not able to buy and stock more salt and onions due to her low working capital. She frequently travels to Kumasi to buy her products. But the frequent travel reduces her income and working capital. She therefore wants to use this loan to buy more bags of iodated salt and sacks of onions.



She a proud member of the group called Gold. The group members uses peer pressure on members to repay the loan on time.
