A loan of $1,775 helped a member to purchase clothing and lingerie for sale.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The "Mujeres Unidas" ["United Women"] committee was born as a result of the management and help of a group of women who work in the same neighborhood. They took this name because the group members are women who are highly united in striving for their families, and who want to be able to improve their income while growing as people.

Señora Dolores is a very enterprising woman and one who is capable of working in union with a large group such as this one. She works selling all kinds of clothing, and also lingerie. She says that she has a very good clientele as she also has a good variety of products for sale, and this is what attracts her customers.

She is requesting the loan to purchase clothing, such as T-shirts, jeans, shorts and lingerie, so as to be able to stock up her business and in this way be able to continue providing variety to her customers.

In this group: Gilda, Rosana, Leonora, Gabriela, Sara, Demetria, Virginia, Martina, Rosalba, Dolores, Gricel, Mariana, Cynthia, Justina
