A loan of $3,550 helped a member to buy more bricks and eggs to resell.

Riziki Group's story

Rukia, who is in her early forties, is married and has five children. One of her children is an adult, three of them attend school and the last one is still young. She has been selling bricks and eggs for three years now. She works from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be her second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loan to restock missing items and pay household expenses. She has repaid both of her loans successfully. She is requesting a new loan in order to buy more bricks and eggs to resell. Her dream is to be able to build her own house.

She will share this loan with her loan group, "Riziki," which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other accountable for repaying their loans.
