A loan of $1,700 helped a member to buy fabric.

Kuña Kyrey Group's story

The women's community bank Kuña Kyrey is beginning it's first cycle in which all of them work together and with solidarity within the program. They do jobs together and in this way are able to save a little, so that they can face whatever setbacks may arise.

Sixta is one of the community bank members who makes a living by sewing sheets and covers. She tells us that through her job she has been able to get her family ahead and help them to have a life without hardships or restrictions.

Sixta is asking for a loan to buy more fabric and to better stock up for her orders. In this way she will sell more sheet sets, so that she can earn a higher income and improve her and her family's standard of living.

Sixta is grateful to Fundación Paraguaya for the opportunity they've offered, since the work they do is very important and through them they will develop further and with fewer drawbacks to their work.
