A loan helped to buy raw materials to make leather belts.

Rene's story

René is married and has two children who are 5 and 7 years old; he lives in a neighborhood in Choloma, Cortes.

He started his own business about 7 years ago making leather belts. He used to work for a private firm. He started this business with his own funds and has kept it stable by means of loans.

He is currently asking for a 26,000 lempira loan to buy supplies like leather, buckles, rivets, thread and others he needs to make the belts. He will buy these materials in a nearby country because it’s less expensive. Most of his customers live outside the city and have requested products he has to deliver. His goal is to make the business grow and eventually have his own commercial site.
