Grupo Solidario Cundualo Group's story

The Cundualo group is made up of three entrepreneurial women who work hard every day in order to provide for their families. Ana is the president of this group as she is a very responsible, hard-working and cheerful woman. Ana is the lady in the center of the photo. She lives with her three children near the city of Latacunga, in Cotopaxi province.

Ana works from home, together with her family, buying, raising and selling animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens. She fattens the animals so that they are well accepted by her customers. Ana is requesting a loan from Fodemi to build pens and to buy rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens to breed and raise. This business allows her to cover her children's expenses and to improve their quality of life. Ana's fellow group members will use their loans to buy animals because the business is very common in their city and is profitable.

Ana dreams of improving further every day.
