A loan of $1,225 helped to buy ingredients like flour, sugar, eggs, margarine, and other ingredients to make cakes.

Rosely Sarahi's story

Rosely is a 28 year old single mother. She lives in the city of Yoro with her son, her mother, and her siblings.

Rosely did not stop studying or learning. When she was young she learned pastry making, which she likes so much. Approximately 12 years ago, with great effort and willpower, she established her own business. She makes and sells cakes for all occasions. Little by little she has improved the business through the loans, and there is a good demand for her cakes.

She is currently requesting her fourth loan with ODEF. She will use the loan to stock the ingredients to make the cakes. She will buy things like flour, sugar, margarine, and eggs, etc. This investment will help her increase production and cover the demand.

The plan is for her business to be successful in order to expand, and she will come to have various businesses at different places. The plan also includes being able to give her family and her son a better quality of life
