Doña Lourdes posee desde hace 6 años un negocio de venta de ropa nueva, venta de calzado y variedad de accesorios de belleza la cual vende de manera ambulante en las colonias vecinas de su comunidad. Dice que este negocio le ha sido muy rentable generándole beneficiosas ganancias de las cuales ha podido reinvertir en el negocio y también con los financiamientos que Odef le ha proporcionado a logrado surtir el negocio y mantenerlo estable.
Doña Lourdes es una señora bastante trabajadora, lleva 7 prestamos como Odef, actualmente solicita el octavo de 12,000 lempiras para invertir en comprar mas mercadería para el negocio como ropa, zapatos, y otra mercadería con la que no cuenta. Se siente motivada a seguir beneficiándose de los prestamos que odef le ha proporcionado ya que su negocio a prosperado mucho desde que inicio y su calidad de vida es mejor que antes.
