Noem's Group's story

Noem, aged 39, is a rural villager living in an area of the Ponhea Krek district, Cambodia. She has five children, two daughters and three sons. To make a living to support her big family of 7 members, she has been planting cassava for more than ten years. Noem's group consists of six members who all are female, living in the same village. Noem has been with VisionFund for two loan cycles already while the other members have been with VisionFund for one to two loan cycles. The loans have enabled her to make a better living and she can earn daily income up to 41,100 KHR from her current business. Having completely paid back the loans, Noem is leading her group to apply for a loan with VisionFund. As the leader, she is going to use her portion to buy fertilizer and seedlings for her farmland. She hopes to earn more income to make a better living.
