A loan of $400 helped to buy farming supplies.

Úrsula Paz's story

Úrsula Paz was not able to complete her basic education, but necessity made her learn to cultivate the earth. For the past three years she and her husband have been raising corn and beans. At 35 years of age, she has two children, both of whom live with her and her husband. Besides the crops, her husband learned to work as a mason and at times does outside work that allows him to bring in other income to complement the basic household expenses. Úrsula is an incredible woman and works very hard to maintain the household. She raises the crops every year and sells part of the harvest in the markets in the zone where she lives. She is asking for this loan through INTEGRAL so that she can buy the necessary farming supplies, such as seeds, fertilizers, insecticides, etc; given that it’s fundamental to cover the basic family necessities, such as education, food, and clothing.
