Judith Martina's story

In the city of Tosagua , the Amigas De Tosagua communal bank meets every two weeks. This area is known for being very dynamic. Most of its residents work in agriculture and raising animals, because there is great vegetation there.

Here we meet Judith. She is 36 years old. She is married and from her marriage has three children, aged 15, 11 and 10. The two oldest go to high school and the youngest is in elementary school. Her husband is a merchant.

Our friend is a housewife who to have her own resources and get her children ahead and help her husband with the household expenses sells Avon and Yanbal (beauty products, creams, cosmetics, perfume and women's accesories). She sells door to door and goes out four days a week. She sells on credit and collects every week. She has been doing this for 11 years and it is going very well for her. She takes advantage of promotions to buy at a lower price and sell at a normal price, thus making more earnings.

This loan is to buy perfumes, creams, cosmetics and clothing. She has been in the communal bank almost from the beginning and she likes it because the loand are punctual.

Her dream is to see her children have professional careers.
