Ana Julia's story

Ana Julia, 49, is single with four children; she lives in a village near the city of Puerto Cortes with her oldest daughter.

Ana Julia has always been a merchant. She used to sell all sorts of merchandise and five years ago decided to sell food because it’s profitable. She built a locale onto her house where she sells soft-drinks, snacks and food like chicken with fried banana, fried chops, tacos and others.

She’s asking for a 21,000 lempira loan to buy ingredients and supplies to prepare the food and snacks, soft-drinks, juice, etc. Her goal is to continue working in her business since demand is good and to improve more each day and to improve her family’s quality of life.
