Hans's story

Hans, 33, is a very kind man. Together with his spouse he has a nine-year-old son. He lives in his parents’ house with his spouse and son and also shares the house with thee of his siblings. He contributes much to his home and everything he does is with his family’s wellbeing in mind.

He has a motorcycle and auto repair shop in a space he set up at home since he works alongside his brothers. He’s been in this work for three years and is happy to do what he likes and generate family income. At the beginning he had many problems because he couldn’t get used to working among metal and oil but in time he started to acquire a liking for what he does and now he mentions that he wouldn’t give it up for anything because he earns good income and is able to rest well. He wants many things but for the moment what he wants most is to increase the variety and number of machines he has in his shop; he’s also seeking independence and hopes later on to have his own shop and to buy a lathe.

This is his fifth MFP loan and he’s very happy to know that he has financial support to advance with his business. On the other hand, he commits once more to make his installment payments like he did with previous loans he had. He likes being part of his communal bank because all the members are very responsible, mutually supportive people.

He will use the requested 1500 soles to buy wrenches and other tools to equip his shop.
