A loan of $750 helped to buy merchandise.

Gloria's story

Gloria, 39, is a kind, very enthusiastic woman. She and her spouse have an 18-year-old son. They live in Gloria’s parents’ house where two of her brothers also live.

She sells beverages at home; she buys them from the distributors, cools them and sells them at retail. She also sells food in her sister-in-law’s restaurant. She’s been doing these activities for two years and is doing very well. She likes this way of working very much because it allows her to manage her own time as well as produce double income for her home. In addition, she sometimes works as a substitute elementary school teacher covering for available positions. This is how Gloria is a woman that works much; she loves her family very much and wants to improve daily to grow economically.

This is her fifth MFP loan and she’s happy to know that she has financial support to continue advancing with her work. On the other hand she commits to continue to be punctual with her installments just as programmed. She’s very happy to belong to her communal bank because they are all very responsible and mutually supportive.

She will use the requested 2000 soles to buy more beverages to have in her warehouse and to offer a greater variety to her customers.
