A loan of $375 helped to buy sugar, rice, pasta, and potatoes for her restaurant.

María Asunción's story

María is a member of the Ternura Community Bank. She is 49 years old and has three children. She has been a member of FINCA Peru for two years. María owns a restaurant where she sells food in the evenings, the time when there are lots of customers. Her goal is to have a store where she can sell groceries and drinks. She is very confident that this will do well as she has the support of her husband and children. The loan will be used to buy sugar, rice, pasta, and potatoes for her restaurant.
