A loan of $725 helped to purchase sourvenirs for selling at her store.

Giao's story

Giao is a 32-year-old married woman. She lives with her daughter and husband in Ho Chi Minh City. Her husband earns money as a labourer. For three years, she has run a general store to sell milk, souvenirs, personal use items and necessary household products to people in her community.

Giao would like a loan to purchase more souvenirs to sell to her customers. She hopes this will enable her to better meet the needs of her customers and attract additional customers.

She also hopes that through her loan she will be able to increase her income and save money for any future difficulties facing her family.
