A loan of $400 helped to buy nutritionally balanced animal feed, including feed made from rice and corn, for her animals.

Marisol's story

Marisol is 20, and she lives with a partner and has 2 children in her care. Her house is located in the El Frutal neighborhood of the rural La Coruña settlement in Tambogrande district. Marisol lives in her own house, and she and her husband support each other in their economic activities.

Marisol has a business raising and selling animals such as: sheep, pigs and poultry. When they get to a good state of development she sells them to the traders who come to her area. She has been doing this type of work for 2 years now, and over this time she has gained a customer base due to her friendly service. Her customers choose her business because of her service and the quality of products that she offers. With the income she earns, Marisol covers expenses for herself and her family.

Marisol wants to buy nutritionally balanced animal feed, including feed made from rice and corn, for her animals. For this reason, she is requesting a loan for 1,000 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa.
