A loan of $4,275 helped a member to buy second hand clothes like t-shirts, shirts, jeans, and other garments.

Santa Lucia Group's story

The women of the Santa Lucia communal bank decided to join this beneficial project that the Fundación Paraguaya offers. They all have their enterprises, but they also do activities together, which foster their camaraderie, and they help each other.

Isla is one of the members. She is a hard-working and tenacious person. She always puts forth great effort to help her loved ones so that they will not want for anything. She says that she sells second hand clothes. Her sales are increasing because lately people prefer this clothing because it is inexpensive. Isla’s dream is to be able to have a big store. This way she would have a bigger place to sell her products.

She is requesting the loan to buy second hand clothes like t-shirts, shirts, jeans, and others. With this merchandise she will be able to stock her business. This way she will continue offering a variety to her customers.
