Christopher's story

Christoper is a married man. He has a son who is four years old. He describes himself to be ambitious and outgoing. He operates a quarry where he sells pebbles, stones etc. He has been involved in this business for 12 years and employs eight staff members. His business is located at a potential residential area and his primary customers are contractors, schools, churches etc. He describes his biggest business challenge to be the rainy season when roads are impassible to the business location. He will use the KES 80,000 loan to buy a drill worth KES 50,000 and pay for labor of KES 30,000 In the past, Christoper has taken loans of KES 20,000, 40,000, 60,000 and 80,000, which he managed to pay well. His business goal is to have his own lorry for transportation within five years. He hopes that in the future, he can buy a farm and buy dairy cows to raise.
