Srey Mom is 40 years old. She is widowed and resides with her three children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in agricultural business for more than twenty years, has an extensive experience and is successful in her career. She is involved in growing rice and fattening up animals. Approximately, she earns $3 per day. Two of her children are garment workers. They earn about $7 per day. Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Srey Mom is requesting a loan of $1400 to purchase a motorbike to commute. This purchase would enable her to use the saved money on her transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to build a new house as soon as possible.
