A loan of $950 helped to buy clothes.

Mitzy's story

Mitzy, 27, is an enterprising, very hardworking woman. She’s married to Carlos who is a salaried employee and father of their only son, Fabrizzio, 3. They live in their own house that they managed to buy thanks to much effort.

The activity she does is selling clothes and women’s accessories. To do so she has a boutique she opened in a space she set up in her house.
This way she saves rental costs and she takes care of her customers kindly. She’s been in business for more than three years and for the moment works by herself.

She likes her work because she earns income to help her husband with household expenses since often his salary as an employee in a private firm was insufficient and also because she has free time to care for her little boy. She considers it to be profitable because she’s succeeded in securing regular customers so she can count on permanent income. She’s planning to open another business selling food on Saturdays and Sundays in partnership with her mother.

This is her MFP loan #5 and she feels happy to be able to count on this financial support. She will continue to be punctual with her payments in order to have access to more loans.

She will use the 2500 new soles requested to invest half in the purchase of various styles of clothes brought from the capital and the other half will used as working capital for her new food business.
