Clelia is a widow; she has three children. She’s currently a member of the “Crecer” (To Grow) communal bank, a group made up of 10 members who carry out a variety of commercial activities.
Clelia has worked for seven years selling meals to a firm and at the same time has a bookstore at home. Clelia started this business when her husband died. Thanks to her effort and dedication she’s attained better economic income; her children acquired an education and above all, her family enjoys a better quality of life.
With the goal of continuing to grow, she’s asking for a new loan to buy school supplies (pencils, notebooks, erasers, etc.). Edaprospo believes that Clelia will meet her goals with much work and effort and that the Edaprospo loans will help her.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
