Clelia is a widow; she has three children. She’s currently a member of the “Crecer” (To Grow) communal bank, a group made up of 10 members who carry out a variety of commercial activities.

Clelia has worked for seven years selling meals to a firm and at the same time has a bookstore at home. Clelia started this business when her husband died. Thanks to her effort and dedication she’s attained better economic income; her children acquired an education and above all, her family enjoys a better quality of life.

With the goal of continuing to grow, she’s asking for a new loan to buy school supplies (pencils, notebooks, erasers, etc.). Edaprospo believes that Clelia will meet her goals with much work and effort and that the Edaprospo loans will help her.

La Sra. Clelia es viuda, tiene 3 hijo, actualmente es integrante en la alcancía comunal “Crecer” grupo conformado por 10 socios que se dedican a diversas actividades de comercio. Clelia trabaja desde hace 7 años en la venta de comida a una empresa y a su vez tiene una librería que está ubicada en su domicilio Clelia empezó este negocio a raíz de que falleció su esposo , gracias a su esfuerzo y dedicación a logrado mejores ingresos económicos, sus hijos tuvieron educación , y sobre todo su familia cuenta con una mejor calidad de vida, con el fin de seguir creciendo a solicitado un nuevo préstamo para comprar mercadería utiles escolares (lápiz cuaderno, borrador etc). Sabemos que clelia cumplirá sus metas con mucho trabajo y esfuerzo y que los préstamos de Edaprospo le ayudaran.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
