Mónica's story

Monica is 43 years old, hardworking woman, entrepreneurial and eager to get ahead. Her partner is Dante, the father of her two children: Isabel, who is 13 years old and Dante who is 8 years old. They own the house where they live.

She makes a living raising and selling chickens, for that purpose, she has a coop in the backyard, with a capacity for 250 chickens, which when are large and ready she sells to the merchants of the market.

She has been in this business about six years, which started as his partner initiative when he noticed the opportunity. She likes her work because it has given her lots of satisfaction both personally and economically, as it helps to pay her children’s studies, whom are her biggest proud. In addition, the profits are good because she has good demand in the area.

Seeing these results and using her savings, she has plans to set up and store in her house to sell chicken meat and as a result have better revenues.

This is her second loan with the field partner MFP. She feels good with her communal bank because her partners are very united. With the requested amount of 1500 new soles, she will buy 250 chicks, to start a new raising stage, more balanced food and once they are ready put them to sell in her new store.
