Nzije's story

Nzije is a 24-year-old single woman with 1 child who is enrolled in school. She lives in her own house with neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are school fees and medical bills.

Nzije has operated a food stall for the past 3 years. She sells from her home to her neighbors. She faces a major challenge of seasonality. She aspires to own a well stocked kiosk.

With the Ksh. 10,000 she wants to purchase additional stock like maize flour and wheat flour. She decided to join Yehu to access funds to boost her business.
