Pascuala

A loan of $775 helped to buy animals such as: pigs, goats, ducks and hens, and to buy nutritionally balanced feed to fatten them.

Pascuala's story

Pascuala is a 33 year-old woman who is married and lives with her husband and children in a rural part of Mochumi district, in the department of Lambayeque. The only utility that she has in her house is electricity. She gets her water from hand-made wells. Most of the families in this area live in similar conditions.

Pascuala's main activity is buying and selling animals such as: pigs, goats, ducks, and hens. She feeds them and raises them, and sells them to the wholesalers in the area. She has experience in this line of work. Her husband also supports her with her business.

Pascuala is requesting a sum of 2,000 Peruvian soles to buy animals such as pigs, goats, ducks and hens, and to buy nutritionally balanced feed such as: corn, rice-based feed, Purina feed and vitamins. At this time she is proposing to increase her stock of animals, which will allow her to improve her family's quality of life.
