Elguja works as a mechanical engineer on a local TV tower. Nani is leading the agricultural business of the family. In particular, she runs a family owned farm with 2 milk cows, 4 calves and a pig. Nani produces on average 40 kg of cheese per month. She sells cheese and piglets (on average 10 piglets per year) on the open market of the nearby town. Along with the above mentioned, the family owns 1 hectare of agricultural land. Elguja and Nani grow maize on this plot. About half of the harvested corn is used by the family for feeding the domestic animals, and the rest is sold locally. Total average monthly income of the family is 700 Laris.

Nani requested a loan for purchasing an additional milk cow. She will get more milk and will be able to increase production and sales of cheese by 50%. It will have a positive impact on the family income. Nani plans to use the increased income for improving the living conditions of the family, especially the children.
