A loan of $1,325 helped to buy natural fertilizers.

Costantina's story

Constantina is 49 years old and she has been married to Wilfredo for 15 years. They have eight children but only the three youngest live with them. They have their own home and it is located in Estanque.

Every morning, thanks to the production of their nine cows, they make cheese (they make 8 to 9 molds daily) and they sell them to the people in the region. They also have five bulls which help them plow the land so that they can begin planting. Additionally, they rent their bulls to other farmers when those farmers need them. Their main crops (grown on their own farmland) are potatoes, peas and corn.

Furthermore, Constantina's husband works as a caretaker at the local television station. Currently, Constantina is a bit sick but this does not hold her back, as she is always working to get ahead.

She belongs to the group "La Colpa" and this is her third loan with MFP. She is thankful for the support that they provide her and for supplying the capital she needs to be able to work and to grow her business. She promises to be punctual with her payments, especially because the members of the association are supportive and responsible people. Constantina will invest the money in the purchase of natural fertilizers so that she can fertilize her potato crops, which are of the basic Yungay variety.
