A loan of $475 helped to buy natural fertilizers.

Modesta's story

Modesta is 58, and lives in the town of Ahuaycha with her husband Pedro and her youngest child, whom she does her very best to take care of.

Her house is located in one of the highest areas in the settlement, so every morning she pastures her cattle, since there is a great deal of natural grazing. She sells the milk the cows produce from her own home, where the workers from the dairy products plant visit her constantly.

Additionally, she and her husband plant potatoes and corn in large quantities, this being her main source of income. She sells her harvest in the city, where she obtains better earnings.

She belongs to the “Ichicruz” group, and this is her third loan with MFP. She is grateful for the support she has been offered, as she is acquiring the working capital she needs to be able to work and progress in her business. Furthermore, she promises to make her installment payments on time, as the members of her group are supportive and responsible individuals.

Modesta will invest the money applied for in the purchase of natural fertilizers for her next planting.
