A loan of $425 helped to buy masonry tools.

Francisco's story

Sr. Francisco is from the city of Concepción. He is 70 years old and a bricklayer. He is married to Sra. Juana, who is 60. Francisco is a very self-sacrificing person and notes that he has always worked hard and it is thanks to that work that he has been able to help his family. Despite his age, Sr. Francisco wants very much to continue working and helping with the day to day expenses of the household. He says he still has a lot worth fighting for and that is why he continues to strive. He is applying for a loan to purchase tools, which would greatly facilitate his work. He wants to buy trowels, buckets, tape measures, rulers and other masonry supplies. Don Francisco is grateful to Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva for the opportunity they are giving him.
