A loan of $575 helped to buy materials.

Narciso's story

Narciso is 55 years old and he lives with his mother, Manuela, who is 96. He cares for her in his own house located in the Palcamayo district in Tarma.

For 25 years he has made a living as a locksmith. He says that it is going well as he was the first to start a business in this field in his area. "People always come and make orders for bolts, metal plates, tubes for doors, and metal stoves", he states. The item he sells the most are metal doors and windows as well as small stoves and keys, almost all of the time. Through his work he has been able support his home and his elderly mother whom he cares for with a lot of love. Now he is thinking about hiring a person who will help him tend to the business because doing it himself is tough.

This is the third loan he has received from MFP, which is why he gives his word to be responsible in his repayments. He belongs to the “Virgen María” communal bank, a united and responsible group of which he is proud.

He will invest the money he is requesting to purchase materials for the metal products he makes.
