A loan of $2,200 helped a member buy small pigs and chickens.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

United Women is made up of 17 dedicated, driven, and most of all hardworking women from the city of San Pedro. They are heads of their families, humble, and with lots of enthusiasm to succeed, work, and improve their lives.
Raquelina is the president of the group and she comments that the group is excellent and they work together along with each individual's work. Raquelina, for example, raises animals, and with much effort is doing very well.
She is requesting the loan to buy small pigs and chickens to raise since she wants to increase the amount of animals she owns. She and her group are thankful for the help they are receiving since not just anyone would bet on their success since they are such humble women.
