Elias's story

Elias has been in farming for over seven years and currently runs his farm with one farmhand and sells milk and eggs on the local market. He is married with two children aged seven and three years. Elias has requested a loan of 90,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to buy poultry birds at 30,000 KES and expand the poultry housing unit at a cost of 60,000 KES. He plans to rear birds to the tune of four thousand within the next four years. He adds that his family life will be much better with more income from the sale of eggs. Elias says animal diseases pose the worst threat to the farming business. He appreciates Juhudi Kilimo loans services with his past two loans of 30,000 KES and 60,000 KES respectively and reiterates that he will repay the third loan on time.
