A loan of $1,700 helped to buy raw grains to sell.

César's story

César is 54 years old, and he is a sincere, responsible and honest man. He lives with Maritza, his wife of 22 years. He has 4 children whom they have raised with deep love in their own house, located in Pampa Blanca. At the moment only one of them, Maricurz, lives with them.

All over the years he has been engaged in many activities; one of them is working as a mason in the capital city, where he earns the best wage he uses to provide for his family. Another of his activities is growing maize, ulluco (a root vegetable), quinoa and wheat in some lands he rents with a few partners. After every harvest he sells his products in the town of Lima.

As a consequence of this second activity, he has come up with the idea of selling raw grains: he started this activity with his children, and in time this has proven to be a very profitable activity.

However, the activity he likes the most is livestock breeding. He has cows, bulls and billy goats whom he cares for with great commitment; when he finds himself economically in need, he sells them to the butcher offering him the best price.

He is a member of the “Pampa Blanca” Communal Bank, and this is the 10th loan he has requested to MFP. He is happy with his Communal Bank, as he has been working for many years with his group, whose members are people greatly willing to help each other out.

César will invest the loan he has requested in the purchase of various kilograms of raw grains, in order to stock up the activity he runs with her children.
