A loan of $850 helped to purchase a variety of men's shirts and jerseys.

Israel Hernández's story

Israel is 51 years old and lives in a home he has shared with his wife for many years. He plans to work very hard in order to buy this house in future since they don't own a home. His children already have their own homes, which is why he only lives with his wife. He and his wife make a living buying and selling men's shirts and jerseys. They have had this business for many years, so they have regular customers. Many people prefer Israel's store because he is hard-working, positive, responsible and honorable. He has always kept his business well-stocked, which has allowed many people to visit and request products. Given that many people make requests, and each one is for a new style, he decided to seek out this loan from Kiva partner Apoyo Integral to purchase a variety of new styles of shirts and jerseys to stock his store. He thinks that in this way he will increase his income, which will in turn improve he and his wife's quality of life.
