Yanira Marilú's story

Yanira Marilú is 34 years old and lives in her own home. She is a single mother of three children, ages 11, 9 and 8 months. She has made a living running her general store for many years. She is known for being an enterprising woman with a knack for business. With a lot of hard work and dedication she has been able to keep her business going as her main source of income. She has worked arduously to make headway for her family, and little by little she keeps making progress and providing for her beloved children, who are her inspiration. Yanira has a strong desire to move up in life and give her family a better life but it has been very difficult to grow amid the limitations she faces, and she knows the only way to change her situation is to work very hard and find fresh capital to invest. For all those reasons she has decided to request this loan from Kiva partner Apoyo integral to invest in her small business by purchasing products like beans, rice, sugar, candy, cookies, bread, salt, detergent and other items. This will keep her store stocked in a such a way to attract more customers, which will increase her sales and income, and these results will help her improve the quality of life for her and her children.
