A loan of $700 helped to buy milk, sugar, coconut, tamarind, papaya, etc.

Ana Gloria's story

Ana Gloria is 49 years old and lives in her own home that was built by her husband. She lives with her entire family, including her small granddaughter who is 3 years old. With the help of her family, she makes and sells a variety of sweets from her home. She decided to start this business because her husband's income was not covering the household expenses, which seemed to grow every day.

Her husband works in agriculture, but he does not earn a steady income because agriculture is seasonal work. For this reason, he does not have a reliable monthly income. Therefore, Ana works hard and is always thinking of ways to further help support her household.

She has the advantage of being very well-known in her region, and many people give her good personal and work references. All of this has enabled her to be successful in selling her delicious and fresh handmade sweets. She prepares them every day and then sells them.

She decided to seek a loan so that she can invest in the necessary ingredients for her sweets, such as milk, sugar, coconut, tamarind, papaya and milk. She trusts in God, this institution, and that with her work and dedication she will be able to reach her objective of improving the quality of life for her family.
