A loan of $800 helped to buy two cows.

Ablaye's story

Ablaye is a married man. He is the father of six children, three of whom attend school. Since he was young he has worked in agriculture. He often also brings cows into the bush, looking for somewhere for them to graze.
In his village he cultivates land and each year grows millet and groundnuts, a good part of which are destined for consumption. To have financial resources, he buys cows which he fattens and resells after a few months. These two businesses allow him to provide for his needs and those of his family. Today, he is seeking a loan of 400,000 francs to buy two cows. His ambition is to get starting in truck farming and fruit farming.
