Ayudanos Señor 2, 3 & 7 Group's story

Cleotilde is the coordinator of her group, Ayudanos Senor (Help Us, Lord) 2, 3 & 7, a group made up of mostly Haitian citizens. They are located in the city of La Romana, where decades ago Haitians emigrated to work in the sugarcane industry. They all live in a rural community outside of the main city. Their community is a "batey," where most of the people live without services and where it is necessary to go to a closer city to get everything they want.

Cleotilde and her long-term partner make their home here in a simple structure with their three children. She is excited to be taking her 4th loan with Esperanza after having successfully repaid her previous loan and grown her business. She has been running her business for almost four years. She started investing in calling cards when many people bought prepaid cellphones because they need to buy calling cards to recharge their mobile credits. Over time she started buying clothes to sell. Now she is investing this loan to buy more products like cosmetics and shoes, while continuing buying clothes. This new loan will give her the opportunity to increase her sales and to have access to more clients.

She will use this loan to purchase clothing, shoes, and miscellaneous products. She thanks you all for your support.

In this group: Cleotilde, Altagracia, Anita, Manuela, Marita, Lorena, Miladis, Yolanda, Simon, Maria, Yaful, Michelina, Andrelis, Maria, Elitana
