A loan of $600 helped to buy rice, sugar, oil, and other grocery items.

Alsane's story

Alsane is a young man who has had a grocery store for three years in his district. It is located opposite one of the UIMCEC branch offices. He sells provisions, as well as phone minutes recharge cards. His store is facing the Route Nationale, which crosses the city. This location is very visible ensuring him a large customer base and fairly sizable revenues. He helps with the costs of caring for his family and is entirely responsible for covering the rental costs of his store, as well as the water and electricity bills.

To bolster his business capital, he is requesting a loan of 300,000 francs to buy rice, sugar, oil, and other grocery items. His ambition is to open a second store.
