A loan of $2,150 helped to purchase livestock.

Parkhat's story

Parkhat is forty years old, married and she has four children. Parhat works as a teacher in a local school, but in order to supplement her income she's bred and raised animals for the past thirty years. Her business, started from a sum of 5,000 soms, now provides her with a monthly income of around 15,000 soms, generated by the sale of milk and milk products.
With the goal of expanding her business, Parkhat approached "Bai Tushum and Partners" with a request for 100,000 soms (KGS) in order to purchase some young livestock. She plans to reinvest money gained from the loan back into her business.
