A loan of $2,950 helped a member to buy calves to raise and butcher.

Santa Lucia Group's story

“Santa Lucía” is a committee in the city of Luque with 15 women members; all of them are friends and neighbors from that city who have organized themselves because they want to work together and by this means help their families.

Mirtha is one of the group members. She and Neri have been together for 14 years and they have two children. She raises cattle and pigs and also sells milk. She comments that she has a good clientele and thanks to this is able to help her husband with household expenses.

She’s asking for a loan to buy calves to raise and butcher. They thank the members for the opportunity they are receiving because it will be of great help to them.
