A loan of $400 helped to buy a freezer.

Albina's story

Albina is 27 years old. She lives in her own house with her two small children, Darío (7 years old) and Aldair (3 years old). For her, her children are the most important thing in her life.

The activity which she carries out is the sale of soft drinks from a stall which she set up in her home. She has been working in this way for 5 years and she says that the most difficult days are during periods of rain when people don't often come to her stall. This work is worthwhile as she always has an income which helps her with her needs and her children's education. In time, she would like to open a grocery store in order to have even more economic stability, but her priority now is to buy a freezer so that she can cool drinks as quickly as possible.

This is her first loan with MFP, and she is happy to receive financial assistance so that she can continue her work. She is an active member of her community bank and is grateful to be part of this scheme. With the 1,000 nuevos soles which she is now requesting she will buy the freezer she so badly needs.
