A loan of $5,525 helped a member to expand and remodel her business.

Esperanza Y Progreso Group's story

Luz is separated, 40 years old and has one school-age son. She is currently a member of the communal bank "Esperanza y Progreso” [Hope and Progress], a group made up of 7 members who earn their living through a diverse range of businesses. Luz has been earning her living renting out rooms for one year. She had some money and invested it by building a house and now she rents out four rooms. Her business arose out of her separation. Thanks to her hard-work and dedication her son has had a private-school education, she has purchased electrical appliances and she now enjoys a better quality of life.

Luz is asking for another loan to expand and remodel her business. Luz will attain her goals though a lot of effort and hard work and the loans from Edaprospo will help her.

In this group: Luz Milagros, Esthefani Lisset, Noemi Dora, Clotilda, Esther Elizabeth, Martha, Ana Cecilia
