Latré Kayissan

Togo
Lomé, Togo / Charcoal Sales

A loan of $800 helped to buy charcoal.

Latré Kayissan's story

Latré is a 42-year-old woman. She is married to an electrical contractor and has three children, all of whom are in school. Her oldest child is 15 years old, the youngest is 10.

Latré has been reselling charcoal since 1994. She sells to everyone, from her home, and also as an itinerant seller. Her biggest challenge is to get supplies during the rainy season.

Latré has requested her first loan from WAGES for the purchase of charcoal. She wants to reinvest in the activity, diversify her business, and ensure the well-being of her family.
