Dulce Esperanza Group's story

The “Dulce Esperanza” (Sweet Hope) committee formed when 16 neighbors from the city of Mariano Roque Alonso joined together wanting to help their families by means of this opportunity the Fundación is giving them to form a group of companions.

Demetria is one of the committee members. She works as a seamstress and as an events decorator. She’s a very hardworking, creative, active woman who very much wants to get ahead. She has five children and her husband’s an electrician. She tells us that she and her husband always strive to be able to give their family what they need and so that they won’t have to go through any privations.

Demetria asks for the loan to buy fabric and decorations because they are the main things she uses for her work.
