Nonvignon 7 Group's story

The Nonvignon 7 group is composed of three individuals who stock up in the same place and belong to the same community savings fund. This is the third time that the group is seeking financial support from Kiva in order to expand its business activities. The group’s representative, by the name of Assiba Fabrise Rose, is the one raising her hand in the photo. Assiba Fabrise Rose is 36 years old; her husband’s name is Maurice. The spouses have two dependent children, both in school. Assiba Fabrise lives together with her husband and children. The spouses jointly provide for various family needs. Assiba Fabrise Rose had very little formal education. She learned hairdresser’s trade and has been working in this field for some 15 years. As a secondary activity, Assiba Fabrise Rose sells hair extensions and cosmetic products in her shop. This business allow her to be able to meet her family’s needs without major problems. Assiban Fabrise Rose stocks up at a market in Benin.

With the goal of meeting customer demand and expanding her sales volume and her revenues, Assiba Fabrisa Rose, together with the other members of the Nonvignon 7 group, is seeking her third loan from ALIDé. The two prior loans have been duly repaid.
